Back to the blog! Holy crap, I just realized it’s been almost a year since I last posted on this page. I haven’t spent that year away from photography though, been shooting with lots of different cameras and lots of different film. I decided awhile back to return to film photography even for my professional work, so I took some time to find my rhythm with all that again.

I’ll be returning to posting on this site regularly. Although at the moment, I’m probably the only one looking here, haha. If so, that’s ok, it can be a place for me to think out loud and continually see what kind of progress I’m making in my photography. And if people happen to come across this site and enjoy the work, even better.

The shot here is of my nephew Nolan, it was my first day shooting with the Mamiya 6 camera I had purchased. I think I’m in love with this camera. I’ve gotten really into shooting 6×6 images and the mobility of this camera fits my preferred way to work, doesn’t hurt that the image quality is fantastic too.

I also posted this photo because it seemed a fitting image to show my excitement to be back posting on here!

I’ll keep it short today, glad to be back to posting. I’m looking forward to getting this site caught up on all the things I’ve been working on lately.
